The Delaware Section of the American Water Resources Association (DEAWRA), in partnership with the state of Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC), is proud to announce our upcoming fall symposium “MS4 Permit Changes In Delaware: Will You Be Ready?” Polluted stormwater runoff is commonly transported through Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4s), from which it is often discharged untreated into local waterbodies. To prevent harmful pollutants from being washed or dumped into an MS4, operators must obtain a NPDES permit and develop a stormwater management program. Our MS4 fall symposium will discuss the upcoming MS4 permit changes in Delaware.
This year’s fall symposium will be held on Tuesday, November 5th at Heritage Shores Golf Club in Bridgeville, Delaware. The day will begin with a light breakfast and welcome from the Secretary of DNREC, David Small. The day’s draft summarized agenda can be found below:
