The DE-AWRA hosted a day-long symposium featuring current activities and future trends in organizational changes, regulation, funding opportunities, and more in the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC). Key decision-makers and leaders in DNREC were on-hand to present an overview and field questions. The day enabled networking and face-to-face conversations among the private sector, non-profits, governmental agencies, and education/research communities.
Anyone with an interest in the water resources of the state and beyond could profit from this event! Continuing Education Units (CEUs) were provided, and registration included a delicious catered lunch.
Venue kindly provided courtesy of the St. Jones National Estuarine Research Reserve in Dover.
Thanks to all participants and speakers!
